About PQA Karachi Jobs 2026
Port Qasim Authority (PQA), operating under the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Government of Pakistan, is undertaking a major environmental infrastructure project titled “Combined Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) of 4.0 MGD Capacity and Enhancement/Upgradation of 1.3 MGD Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP)”.
To support this project, PQA is inviting applications from qualified, motivated, and experienced professionals on a contractual basis.

1. Project Director (01 Post)
- Salary Package: Lump-sum
- Contract: Initial 01 year (extendable based on performance)
- Place of Duty: Port Qasim, Karachi
2. Civil Engineer (02 Posts)
- Salary Package: Lump-sum
- Contract: Initial 01 year (extendable)

3. Computer Operator (03 Posts)

Eligibility Criteria
Project Director
Education:
- B.E / B.Sc in Civil Engineering from HEC-recognized university
- Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering / Project Management / Construction Management (preferred)
- Must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as Professional Engineer
Experience:
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience
- At least 10 years in planning, execution, and management of environmental engineering or water projects
- Proven experience in effluent/sewerage treatment plants, waterworks, or similar infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of project planning tools, environmental regulations, FIDIC contracts, and EIA/NOC processes
Civil Engineer
Education:
- B.E / B.Sc in Civil Engineering
- Must be registered with PEC as Registered Engineer
Experience:
- Minimum 05 years of experience in execution/supervision of civil works
- Experience in sewerage, drainage, STP/CETP, or utility infrastructure preferred
- Knowledge of construction drawings, quality control, and reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Primavera
Computer Operator
Education:
- Intermediate / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or Oracle
Experience:
- Minimum 03 years of relevant experience
