About PCAP Lahore Jobs 2026
The Punjab Clean Air Program (PCAP) is a World Bank–supported initiative being implemented by the Transport & Mass Transit Department, Government of Punjab. The program aims to reduce emissions, improve air quality, and enhance sustainable transport infrastructure—particularly by lowering PM2.5 exposure in Lahore Division.
To support program implementation, monitoring, and technical assessments, PCAP is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified professionals for individual consultancy roles.
Available Vacancies
PCAP Lahore has announced the following consultancy positions:
1. Transport Specialist (01 Post)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Transport Engineering / Planning / Urban Planning / Civil Engineering or a related field (HEC-recognized)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in public transport systems and policy design
- Experience in electric vehicle (EV) integration, route planning, and fleet management
- Familiarity with World Bank–funded projects and Punjab Government transport policies
- Experience conducting feasibility studies and technical assessments for transport projects
2. Automotive Engineer (01 Post)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field (HEC-recognized)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive engineering, preferably in EVs and clean transport solutions
- Experience in design, development, and deployment of buses, two-wheelers, or three-wheelers
- Knowledge of vehicle inspection systems and emission standards
- Familiarity with international standards (ISO, SAE, IEC) and EV technologies
- Experience with donor-funded projects (World Bank, ADB, UN) preferred
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in automotive design software
Selection & Terms
- Selection will be conducted in accordance with World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (2023) under Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants
- Engagement is project-based and does not confer any right of regularization
- Detailed Terms of Reference (TORs) are available on official departmental websites
- Face-to-face or virtual meetings may be conducted if required
